Autumn newcomb

Autumn is a funkadelic multidisciplinary artist based in Brooklyn, NY. She is a radical joy resister, a modern day dadaist, a music enthusiast, and a proud, queer, Mexican American. She uses color, humor and optimism to fight the power and promote self love through a variety of mediums including illustration, video, performance, soft-sculpture, and glass.

She received her BFA from Alfred University School of Art and Design. She has shown at Abrons Art Center, BRIC Arts Media House, The Dimenna Center for Classical Music, Fashion Institute of Technology, The Brooklyn Clay Tour, and in TIME Magazine.

During the weekdays, Autumn finds the fun in creating digital content to educate and promote voting in local elections for NYC Votes. She is the first Multimedia Content Creator at the New York City Campaign Finance Board. Follow the fun @nycvotes.
