Autumn newcomb

Autumn (she/they) is a multifaceted, multidisciplinary artist and content creator based in Brooklyn, NY. She is a radical joy resister, a modern day dadaist, a music video stan, and a proud, queer, Mexican American human. She uses color, humor and optimism to fight the power and promote self love through a variety of mediums including illustration, video, performance, soft-sculpture, and glass.

She received her BFA from Alfred University School of Art and Design. She has shown at Filmshop x Arts on Governors Island, Abrons Art Center, BRIC Arts Media House, The Dimenna Center for Classical Music, Fashion Institute of Technology, The Brooklyn Clay Tour, and created editorial illustrations for TIME Magazine.

During the weekdays, Autumn finds the fun in helping New Yorkers better understand how their city works as Senior Digital Producer at the NYC Comptroller’s Office. Beyond her public service work, Autumn leads Pinto Bean Productions, a creative studio where she develops playful, people-centered digital projects. Follow along @pintobeanproductions.
